Western Lombok is the most common touristic place. It has the capital city Mataram and Senggigi Beach.

Mataram is actually containing 5 (five) separated little towns such as Ampenan (the port), Mataram (the administrative center), Cakranegara (the business center), Bertais and Sweta (bus terminal) on the east.

The best way to mark those 5 towns is to knowing the main street. Starting from jalan Pabean in Ampenan, ends at jalan Yos Sudarso and the changes to jalan Lengko, jalan Pejanggik and jalan Selaparang goes from Sweta to Bertais. This is a one way street running from west to east.

To go back, you must take jalan Tumpang Sari to jalan Panca Usaha, jalan Panca Warga and jalan Pendidikan.
